Main Beach is the largest and most popular stretch of beach in Laguna Beach, located downtown where Broadway and Ocean Avenues meet Coast Highway, and marked by its white lifeguard tower. It is mostly sand-bottom with shorebreak surf popular for swimming, bodyboarding and body surfing, and has a boardwalk running its length.
